Issues on 10.2147/IJN.S523621
Concerns are raised regarding to the article [1]:
(1) The authors claim the size of the obtained CaCO3 is about 62.50±0.58 nm (also shown in Figure 1B). The standard deviation value is about 1% of the mean value, and it seems to be too small than expected. We remeasured the size of the obtained CaCO3 shown in Figure 1A(a), the samples used in our measurement is marked with red arrows, and the result is about 46±3 nm.
(2)The authors claim they received approval from the Institutional Animal Care and Treatment Committee of Southwest Medical University for the animal experiments, with the case numbers of swmu20250011. This suggests that the ethical approval was received no earlier than January 1st, 2025. However, the article was submitted to the journal less than three months latter at April 1st, 2025. This time frame seems to short for the authors to complete the animal experiments and to prepare the manuscript. Therefore, it is suspected the authors started the animal experiments before they received the ethic approval.
