Issue on 10.1016/j.mseb.2023.116492
Several concerns are raised regarding to the article [1]:
(1) Figures 4b, 4c, and 4d, which depict the same region of a single sample at different magnifications, were incorrectly represented as SEM images of distinct samples.
(2) Figure 3a and 3b are too similar to each other than expected, while they are described to be obtained from different samples.
(3) The email address associated with D.T. Semiruomi (Toghraee@iaukhsh.ac.ir) at Islamic Azad University appears to belong to Davood Toghraie, an author affiliated with both the University of Kufa and Islamic Azad University, who has multiple retractions (such as articles [2-3]) due to unauthorized authorship changes. It remains unclear whether D.T. Semiruomi and Davood Toghraie are the same individual, potentially adopting an altered name to evade detection.
